Work Experience

Nhlanhla Ngubane is a Business Development Associate for the South African College Principals Organization (SACPO), a non-statutory body representing Principals of the public TVET colleges. He is responsible for conceptualizing and project managing initiatives that involve SACPO partnership with development agencies, SETAs and the DHET.

He is the former CEO of MIET Africa, an NGO that work in the education space with focus on vulnerable children and youth. Nhlanhla has been the chairperson of the Publishers Association of South Africa (PASA); an Education Advisor at United Nations Children Education Fund (Unicef); technical advisor to Denmark Development Agency (Danida) on TVET in South Africa; Education Advisor to Ireland Aid; has coordinated the setting up of a Professional Development Institute on behalf of SADTU. He has also been a project manager of the UNISA Foundation of the University of South Africa.
