Nizenande is a Learning and Development Specialist. She has a particular interest in creating learning methodologies for African people development and entrepreneurial advancement, with a focus on equipping young African professionals with the tools to perform and thrive. She has close to ten years’ experience in curriculum development and facilitation, being an educator for Duke University Corporate Education programs and having created programmes for MBA students from leading universities across all seven continents.
Nizenande’s strategic work has included working with individuals and organizations to advance transformation and the economic participation of African citizens so they can earn sustainable livelihoods. It is this enduring passion for the development of African people that led her to found Karani Leadership, an entrepreneurial leadership consultancy with operations in South, East and West Africa.
Nizenande has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Studies with Finance degree from the University of Cape Town and a Fundamentals to Organisational & Relationship Systems Coaching Certificate through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) affiliate, CRR Global. She also holds a Certificate on Thought Leadership for Africa’s Renewal from the Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute at UNISA and is a Certified Strengthsfinder Coach through Gallup International, an ICFaccredited coaching body.
