Bernadette Isaacs completed her studies in Human Resource Management at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 1997.
After university she worked in the Corporate Banking sector for 6 years and then a Furniture Manufacturing company in the positions of a Human Resource Generalist until 2009.
Following research commissioned by the provincial government into the sector’s economic potential, Bernadette Isaacs accepted the position of Programme Manager and established the Western Cape Furniture Initiative (WCFI) in 2009. She has played a major role in the transition of a regional (WCFI) to national Industry body the South African Furniture Initiative (SAFI) now as Managing Director.
With her 24 years of progressive experience in the fields of Human Resource, Project Management, Skills Development and Executive Managementshe has driven the vision, strategy and implementation of programmes that develop the furniture sector and the organisation.
